Chris Windus pointed out that peeled raw chestnuts are amazing. The process is not. The results are worth the effort. I replied to him wondering if he could use a pressure chamber to blow the shells off. Putting the chestnuts in an isi cansiter and charging it a few times. Chris tried and replied. No luck. Then it dawned on me. What about cryo-peeling the shells. Freeze the chestnut shells briefly in liquid nitrogen and then bust them off. These are the results.
