Show and tell is here again. The weekly letter keeps us on our toes teaching Amaya how to make something new in the kitchen. This week is marshmallows, recipes for which are a dime a dozen, a quick Google search yields several reputable variations. The trick here is the coating. We ground up freeze-dried raspberries with powdered sugar and then cut the mixture with 50% cornstarch before coating the marshmallows. The raspberries add their own wonderful flavor and a hint of tang to cut through the sweetness. Best of all they make everything pink, which makes Amaya happy.
