It seems that some restaurants can just print money. They open at 11 and close when they run out of food. The quality is good, not great, the service is great. There are smiles and pleases and thank yous and somehow standing in line for an hour seems like a good idea. The prices may be higher than average, but the food and experience is seemingly higher than average is well.
So what is the secret to the success? Being the first on the block to push an idea into the minds of a wanting public. The key is that the public is wanting but does not know it. Restaurants that print money fill a void which we did not know was cavernous and yet when the void is filled a new touchstone is created and people are left wondering why did I not think of that?
Of course, the folks who fill the void might just be looking at hole in system from a different plane. The Grand Canyon is not so grand until you look at it from the rims edge, or fly over to notice its awe inspiring grandeur.
