Risi e Bisi

So begins our work with rice and peas.  We started with a pea cracker around lemon verbena rice pudding ice cream.  This is the first incarnation of either a canape, an accompaniment to a larger dish or just a brief bit of fun with a cocktail.  We have since figured out a means to create more uniform ice cream sandwiches, but these worked out quite well.
