I came across an interesting list by a gentleman named Tom Peters. The list is called The Pursuit of Luck. The ideas and concepts expressed in the list are interesting and moving in many different ways. As I thought about them, an idea struck me. Tom has many more ideas, lists and the like on his website, free stuff he calls them. Free stuff is great, but we need to do something with them. Actively. If we just collect ideas and inspirations and do not actually generate anything concrete, what the heck is the purpose of sourcing out new information? It's not enough to just sit around and discuss ideas, we need to carry them through to fruition so that greater things can be developed.
Use the lists as stepping stones to walk over obstacles, do not just stand on the banks discussing the flowing river.
