This afternoon we finally got to address our pop rock project. We began by mixing a confectioner's glaze with violet extract. We used the blend to coat and flavor our neutral pop rocks which we purchased from Chef Rubber. Now we have the explosive flavor of violet in an explosive medium. Of course now I need to find a use for them. (looks like I found one...here they are with a pinch of our ginger salt and red mustard leaves, a surprising bite to start a meal)
