We are really excited to be teaching two hands on classes at Astor Center on October 18. These classes are each three hours in length, limited to 14 participants and will allow everyone to get their hands dirty. The first class, from 10am to 1pm will center around Activa products, which utilize transglutaminase, an ingredient which is now a staple in our kitchen and which continues to reveal new possibilites on a daily basis. The second class is from 3pm to 6pm and will revolve around Methocel products, which have been used for creating hot gels and whipped toppings. We will start there and then move into other arenas with this incredibly functional ingredient. A ten percent discount for our readers is offered for each class with their respective codes: ACTIVA and METHOCEL.
