Often times I may make too literal an interpretation of what is written and then begin to box myself in. I need to understand the literal and open the door to possibilities as well as look at the broad and apply it to the literal. In understanding these two views we are able to expand an approach to ingredients and explore tastes and textures which may be overlooked. What ingredients and techniques allow us to make these manipulations and leaps in possibilities and executions?
