The contracts are signed and our first official book will be published by Clarkson Potter and is scheduled for Fall 2010. It's been a long hard road and we're finally here. It feels damned good. We're going to savor it for a few moments and then get to work. Our deadline of December 1 has our noses to the grindstone for the next three months in order to get everything we want done in time. We pushed hard for that deadline to get the book out as soon as possible so we have to follow through on our end. We're going to try and keep the blog and the book separate so that the material in the book will be fresh to regular readers. Here and there you may see a teaser, like compression/agar clarification, because we simply can't resist sharing an amazing idea, but you'll have to wait till next fall for the whole shebang. Oh, and we'll be looking for some volunteers to test recipes starting in a few weeks. Email us if you're interested but only if you're serious. As we mentioned, it's a tight schedule so if you don't have the time to actually make the recipes please don't volunteer. Fair warning, there will be some paperwork to fill out along the way. This is serious stuff and there's no time to lose.
