Currently we have been working on odds and ends. We go to markets, buy, come home, and cook. The result has been lots of fresh produce, no sign of quality fish anywhere, and more failures than I care to count. Amidst this chaotic approach we have simplified a number of processes and begun to revisit ideas which we only could have wished to have discovered. What is important is that we continue to learn and refine. Too often we dismiss what we either believe we cannot achieve or think is just not our style. Taking a step or two back allows us to see a larger palate and find ways to make the impossible possible. Learning to integrate what is just not our cup of tea teaches us resourcefulness and adaptation. Cooking is not magic, but great cooking is magical.
