Coursera is a pretty amazing concept. It allows people to take online classes that are taught from instructors from some of the best schools in the country. You earn a certificate at the end of the course as a tangible result of your work. It brings higher education to anyone who is willing to put in the effort needed to learn and you can do it (mostly) on your own schedule.
