Blogging has been a journey. We originally began this looking for a way to connect with other chefs and motivate ourselves to stay current while working in a remote location. In the beginning readers were in the single digits and we wondered whether this endeavor would ever be worth the effort we put into it. Little by little conversations began and our audience started to grow. Nine years later we're still going strong. Over the years we've made changes, adding photography and establishing the tradition of daily posts. Our core beliefs, that ideas are free and that anything worth doing is worth sharing, still hold true. Yes, occasionally we fail to publish recipes, either because we haven't had time to write them up in a standard format (by far the most common reason) or because we're teasing dishes from an upcoming book. For the most part we believe that questions asked should be answered and we do our best to make that happen. Maybe that's why we're still here. It's the stream of queries that we get from our readers and clients that shape our work. It helps us find new directions to explore and motivates us to be here every day. You inspire us.
