We do not like chasing asparagus all over the grill. Grill baskets don't do the job well. We use thin flat skewers to coral vegetables. We found ours at Mitsuwa a few years ago. The flat skewers secure the vegetables preventing unwanted twists and turns. They allow us to flip ingredients easily. We can maneuver them around the grill. We are able to baste them off the heat and return them to the grill efficiently. The simple tool has transformed our process.
