Our herbs survived the move. This in spite of being left in a warehouse for 2 weeks because the moving company didn't have enough space on their trucks. It's take a couple of weeks of TLC to bring them back and now the herbs are alive and almost thriving. That means we don't have to buy herbs to make things taste even better.
Tomatoes are really starting to hit their peak. They are meaty and juicy. They have a soft sweetness and floral notes. Salt piques their flavors. And a fine slicing of lovage and chives elevate the fruit. The small fragments catch edges and rest in nooks and crannies. Each bite bursts with their aromatic impact. And because they are just tiny sprinkles, the tomatoes still shine. Sprinkling is the key.
