We were searching for the right filling for our whoopie pies. We kept coming across suggestions for using doctored up marshmallow creme to stuff between the chocolatey, pillowy, cakey, cookies. Then it dawned on us, independently and simultaneously, to use toasted marshmallows. Inspiration was right there in front of us.
