When we were working on the original R&D for Curiosity Doughnuts we played around more with flavored sugars. Now with the integration of the Super Cake Doughnut we have a delicious canvas for these bright and intense flavors. We put together a new blueberry sugar. It is freeze dried blueberries, citric acid, nutmeg and sugar. We brought back our strawberry sugar, a blend of freeze dried strawberries, citric acid and sugar. The inconspicuous and intensely flavored sugars are an ideal combination for our small and mighty cake doughnuts. Now we are faced with the challenge of creating more flavors and increasing there impact.
