I thought spring arrived in early March. I snapped a picture of our lovage breaking through the soil, ready to get to work in our kitchen. Then winter arrived in fine fashion with heavy snow and biting cold. I figured our lovage, in its delicate stage, was a goner. I was wrong. I looked in our herb pot yesterday and our lovage continuing to grow larger. It faced the adversity and was able to continue to grow. Being able to spring back after the hardship is essential to growth.
