We were fortunate to come into a windfall of lobster claw meat. Aki is happy to eat chilled chunks of lobster, smelling the sea breeze that magically appears when the lobster is in hand. I prefer to mess with her perfect moments. Tonight I divided and conquered. I reserved a bowl of pristine lobster meat for Aki to indulge in. I took the rest and added our current kitchen staple, charred long hots and onions, to the lobster meat. I added some Sir Kensington mayonnaise and torn lovage leaves. The lobster salad needed something else. I reached for our bottle of I Love You With My Hot Sauce and generously dosed the lobster salad. Magically, I smelled my own sea breeze.
