Stella Parks is coming to Curiosity Doughnuts tomorrow (Saturday, September 16, 2017) and we're so excited! She's an amazing pastry chef turned food writer and her book, BraveTart, Iconic American Desserts, is everything we love to see in a cookbook. It's interesting, smart, and delicious. We made her oatmeal cookies and their marshmallow creme filling to use in a doughnut tomorrow. We have stolen a few more of here recipes to integrate into and inspire doughnutland. You'll need to stop in tomorrow to taste those results. Stella will be hanging out at the shop, hopefully crafting a creation or two of her own, using our canvas and her paints, so come on down and to say hello. We'll be selling her books and she'll be signing them--in case you don't have a copy yet. If you already have her book, bring it with you and try a doughnut, some frozen custard, and of course fried chicken. Great things that are greater together.
