I've avoided Organic Girl products for years because they seemed a little bit pricey to me compared to the regular organic greens from Whole Foods or the local ones from Bright Farms. The difference is just a dollar or so, but the packages are smaller and we're always on a budget so every purchase is a balancing act. I love the convenience of packaged baby greens for a quick dinner but Amaya hates baby arugula and does not like spring mix. I can get her to eat the baby spinach or kale if I cook them but her saturation point is pretty low. So I was on the hunt for something new when I spotted the baby bok choy. I picked it up out of curiosity and was rewarded when both Alex and Amaya ate them without complaint. This may not sound like a glowing recommendation but, in our house, this is a huge win. The baby bok choy leaves are sweet and tender, avoiding the stringy texture of pea greens and the bitterness of spinach. It's a a refreshing change of pace for our table.
