As temperatures soar we search for refreshing thirst quenchers. I like things that aren't too sweet, preferably underlined with a slightly bitter edge. Q's Spectacular Grapefruit fits the bill. It has the great citrusy flavor of pink grapefruit (maybe pink because of the color--suggestion is a powerful thing) without being too sugary or simple. It's got a little bit of bite, which I appreciate and it hits every part of the tongue. Alone on ice or with a slug of Hendricks gin and a squeeze of lime to liven things up, it is the perfect summer thirst quencher.
